"Just returned from a hen weekend at the Old Coach House. Great house for large parties and the facilities were good. We liked the fact that the rooms downstairs flowed into each other and that the dining room was big enough for a big party to sit and enjoy a relaxed meal without being on top of each other.
We were party of 16 and organised all our itinerary at the house. Party night was Friday night, all in our comfies – brilliant night.
We had a cocktail class on Saturday afternoon with Jules which was great fun. Really nice guy, professional and very easy going and he adapted cocktails to suit people’s preferences.
In the evening we booked the private dining, husband and wife team. Dom’s Kitchen 9event caterers) were our chef and waitress and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the service 1st class and the couple were the nicest people, very professional. We booked through the on-site events organiser. It was all a surprise for the bride to be and like the rest, she had a fab time. "

"Thank to the on-site events organiser for helping us organise the private chef which was such a great thing to have with all our friends. Had the BBQ banquet option, which was great, the food was amazing and presented so well. Everyone commented on how amazing it was. Would definitely recommend the have the chef to cook one of the nights if you stay."

"What an amazing place. I have just returned from my Hen weekend here and have truly had the best time ever. I can not thank the team enough, from start to finish they were amazing. The cottage was immaculate and everything you could ever need even down to little welcome snacks, thank you We booked to do a few activities with the on-site event’s organiser and loved them all. I definitely recommend booking something to do. We did the old school sports day, beauty treatments and cocktail masterclass. All of them were perfect, thank you ladies. I need to find an excuse to come back."

"Stayed 26th – 27th April in the Old Coach House for my sisters hen weekend. Couldn’t recommend enough. Worked out at less than £100 each for 2 nights in a gorgeous beautifully furnished house, just a short drive from York City Centre. The staff were super friendly and helpful and could be called upon 24/7 in needed. All members of the party couldn’t stop expressing what a great find the accommodation was. It was perfect for our needs. Thank for a great weekend."

"Fantastic accommodation, well appointed, comfortable, and well thought out. Plenty of room for a large party with 2 staircases allowing “quiet bedrooms” not off the main lounges so ideal for all ages. Fantastic hosts happy to help with all queries thoroughly recommend for a hen party."

"Just got back from the most amazing weekend in the Old Coach House for my hen do. The accommodation was amazing with amazing activities offered, afternoon tea on our arrival was gorgeous and catered to some of our awkward dietary requirements as well as the cooked breakfast on Saturday morning.
Dance class was brill even better that she came to the cottage to teach us and the cocktail masterclass in the cottage was so much fun with brill people. Offering the classes and making the whole weekend so much fun for me and all my hens. I am still on such a high from the weekend and I would recommend the cottages and experience to everyone I know. Thank you!"
